Grants

To be eligible for consideration, the applicant must be a mature woman who, despite her past success, finds herself in a career or life situation that has eroded her confidence and hindered her ongoing success. The applicant must be willing to risk making a significant change and be able to demonstrate financial limitations that prevent her from moving forward on her own.

Each applicant will be required to submit documents to substantiate her financial need.  Financial need is validated by copies of tax returns, bank statements and paycheck stubs.  Click on the link below to view the complete list of documents that must be provided to support the Grant Application.  All Grantees will be required to provide a list of personal references.

It is the policy of the Foundation to issue Educational Grant checks directly to the college/university or training program, not the Grantee.  Grant amounts vary, but typically range from $3,000-$5,000.  Educational Grants are limited to Certification Programs, Associate's Degrees or Bachelor's Degrees.  The Foundation does not offer grants for advanced degrees. Special Consideration Grants are awarded by the Foundation from time to time to support a Grantee who is pursuing an educational program.  Examples of Special Consideration Grants include, but are not limited to laptops, books or materials.

The Grant Applicant must be a mature woman who has a:

  • Financial need

  • Commitment to one or more specific personal goals

  • Belief that additional training will increase her career options, and thus, her financial independence

  • Willingness to attend classes and work hard to meet course expectations

  • Vision of a better future

The Foundation provides financial assistance to mature, worthy women, regardless of race, color, sexual orientation, ethnic background, or religious belief.
