Carol S. Yoder, Trustee
RN - John Hopkins Hospital School Nursing (MD), BSN - University Bridgeport (CT), MSN - University of North Carolina (NC)
Ms. Yoder's career includes neonatal and pediatric intensive care; geriatrics and many years of Hospice and Home Care work as both a primary nurse and administrator. She is currently on the staff at Norwalk Community College (CT). After beginning as a part-time clinical nursing instructor, she is currently an Advisor in the Division of Nursing & Allied Health. In her role, Carol works with many students interested in health careers as well as those enrolled in the Nursing or other Allied Health Programs at the school. In addition to her advisement responsibilities she is also a part-time adjunct professor teaching Nursing Leadership and Management. A "giver" by nature, the Foundation is another opportunity for her to share "life's lessons" and give of herself to others.
Sandi A. Draper, Trustee
AA - Pierce Junior College (PA), BS Elizabethtown College (PA)
With a dual major in Business Management and Marketing, Ms. Draper specialized in management information systems and data analysis. During her career, she held management positions with increasing responsibilities at Stockton Bates, an accounting firm in Philadelphia, PA and then Aqua, a water utility in Bryn Mawr, PA. As a Systems Analyst, Sandi's ability to use technology to solve problems, streamline procedures and increase efficiencies, benefited her employers and their many clients. Recently retired, Sandi shares her knowledge of accounting, computers, and her keen ability to troubleshoot problems with the Foundation and the grantees she mentors. Marty's treasured best triend, Sandi has been considered a member of the Yoder family for many years.
Jill M. Yoder, Trustee
AA - Norwalk Community College (CT)
Ms. Yoder, the oldest granddaughter of Paul and Betty Yoder, has shown her commitment to helping others through her work at her church and as a volunteer for World Vision. She earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and enjoys working with children of all ages. She is currently working at Oldham Resource Group in Norwalk, CT. She coordinates activities for the youth group at her church and has also served as a Girl Scout troop leader for a number of years. Jill traveled as a volunteer to Malawi, Africa with World Vision; and Tanzania, Africa with Cross Cultural Solutions to tutor children. Jill has been a regular contributor to the Foundation and has recently joined the Board of Trustees.
Marty A. Yoder, President
BS - Elizabethtown College (PA), advanced studies West Chester University and Penn State University; Ed.D. Temple University (PA)
Dr. Yoder's career evolved from classroom teaching and curriculum development to Human Resources administration and training. She served as Director of Human Resources for Montgomery County Intermediate Unit and Lower Merion School District (PA). She also worked as a Senior Leadership Analyst and Executive Coach for the Gallup Organization in Lincoln NE. Throughout her career, she was involved in program development and training. Helping individuals find their career path was a hallmark of her work in both Human Resources and at Gallup. A recent retiree, Marty now has the time to devote her efforts to the Foundation. She developed the "Reclaiming Success Program" offered to women who can benefit from guidance as they take action to regain financial independence.
